This project began with a clear brief: transform an underused lower level into a private entertainment environment designed exclusively for adult use. The goal was not to add square footage or novelty, but to redefine how the space functioned within the home.

The design prioritizes intimacy, acoustics, and atmosphere. Material selections and lighting strategies were developed to support evening use, focused listening, and social gathering. Deep-toned finishes anchor the space, while layered lighting establishes flexibility across different modes of use.

Tucked behind the main lounge, a custom podcast studio was integrated into the plan. Designed for a creative professional, the space balances acoustic performance with visual continuity, allowing production and leisure to coexist without disruption.

The result is a residential environment that functions with the intention of a hospitality space. Every design decision supports how the space is used, not just how it looks.
